BTW who's gonna photograph greg at his wedding lol

also 2 weddings = 2 SAU bucks parties...

Congrats man!

Can't belive you kept it secret you cheeky bastard! And here we were thinking you were having trouble keeping the camera still in the tunnel due to the lada springs when really it was probably nerves! lol

Anyways... well done mate.

And great pics - especially like the tail shot pic thats in the gallery - look forwards to seeing some more.

My sincere commiserations :( ... Kidding, well done and wish you all the best. A couple of question though...

1. Who's doing the photography :D?

2. One thing you haven't told us is how you proposed?

Well as for me, I had some help from a mate who writes music and we wrote a song that I sang to her at a Kareoke lounge infront of about 200people. /blood/sweat/and tears, I tell ya! My legs were shaking that bad I was holding onto the mic stand to kepp me from dropping to the ground. Considering I'm no Dean Martin it turned out reall well, and we've been married for a year and a half and have beautiful boy. Only problem, I forgot it was Mother's day yesterday and copped the biggest ear bashing. Looks like another shopping spree is in order.. "here you go honey, take the credit card and spend what you like" this normally fixes the problem, just make sure you give her the card with the $500 limit.

Dox, I did the traditional thing and asked her mother and father first. Massive bonus points there!

Evil, I believe her exact words were "all you need to do is make sure you come to the right place dressed in what I tell you". She's got all the plans, although I will get to choose the photographer (and the cars of course!)

Adz, Always Nikon! I bought a D70.

Mesh, well originally I was going to take her up to Mt. Dandenong and ask her, as she said yes to going out with me originally up there. But, we ended up spending most of the night at my parents' for dinner and it ended up being too late. So we watched a movie instead. Midway through the movie I hit stop, told her to grab a jacket and drove up to Mt. Cooper and asked her there. Man, it was a rush.

Mt Cooper? wut tha... I was there on saturday lol

sigh, that means the number of single guys just got lower... snowy's makin plans for his family already... leaves me with like Noof n Ash... greeeeeat...

congrats! :) join the club hehe... i proposed about 2 months ago... now you face the task of planning your wedding... not a nice thing :D

Congrats Greg!!!

The lead up to the wedding day can be tough, particularly the last few weeks - but the wedding day itself will be awesome :)

Married just over 2 years ago...now have 2 beautiful baby skylines, his 'n' her 34's :D

    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
