Can Anyone Rec'mend Place To Fit/instal Additional Gauges?

Recommended Posts

G'day all,

Anyone know of a reliable place south east if possible to fit/install a couple of extra gauges on an r33?

(And hopefully won't rip me off doing it?)

What would you expect to pay including installation for this job?

I'm hoping to get 2-3 on dash or Pod mounted actually..

Any feedback always appreciated..

Thanks heaps once again. :action-smiley-069:

As above. They aren't really that hard to install. When you buy them (new) they come with instructions. Just need to find a constant power sorce, head unit power or hazard lights.

Some gauges have a 'lamp' wire or something like that so when your headlights turn on the gauges dim or change colour.

As the above guys have said its not very hard at all, just put some in my mates R34 GTT last week actually.

If you tackle the job and need some pointers shoot me a PM I will be more than glad to help you out.

DIY,

If you want it done right, do it yourself.

This is the place i put em in..

the ones on top of the dash are a practice run... i have a good dash in the shed for later.

See how a pod would be nicer on the dash

agreed , save yourself the money and do it yourself . they arent that hard to install . buy a din pocket or a pod pillar off ebay , purchase your gauges and sensors depending what you want . google it , theres probably a few write up in the sau diy section , worst case you get confused you post questions on here

Too bad you're in not in Sydney, I could have done them for a few slabs of beer, that's what my mate paid me LOL

LOL indeed. Shame. Still.. it's the thought that counts! LOL.
