Hi mate,

I suggest you contact GZILAH on the forums, I remember he was looking for a mint bayside blue R34 GTR however yours is more in line with in his budget and an absolute bargain. Condition is more important than colour or spec.

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/409087-wtb-r34-gtr-v-spec/

Hope this helps.

Imo this thing is a bloody bargain and Im suprised no one has snapped it up.

Theres people out there asking more for their stockers let alone something thats forged, built and has 20k+ put into it.

Gl mate, if I didnt have mine and I was in the market looking Id snap this up and have it in my garage by tomorow morning lol

^ Not everyone wants built mate. When shopping, I painfully watched numerous BB high grade stockers (or close to) in Japan go through auction for a premium.

That being said, you couldnt import and build a GTR to this spec for Chuey's asking price.

If it gets to a point that you are interested in parting out, please let me know as theres a bit of fruit on there I may be keen on.

^^ Agreed, everyone has different criteria when buying a vehicle and having been through it I know how hard it is to find a pristine condition BB for a good price.

Anyone looking for a built example cant go past this 34 though. In terms of parts quality vs asking price this is an absolute bargain

How long ago was the motor built and how many kilometres put on the engine since?

Hellava nice looking car with bucketload$ of quality mod$.

Sometimes a car being too modified can restrict the sale too....But definitely an exciting car this black GTR.is. Just need to meet the right buyer.

People just spend good money on shit boxes!!! My GTR has been for sale for over a month just keep getting time wasters..

GOOD LUCK buddy we both have clean GTR's so its only a matter of time someone with half a brain will come along..

There are drop in cam's but as to what type I'm not sure (same with the previous owner) but I'd assume you would change the cams' when adding aftermarket gears.....

Spacer's are full hub-centric bolt on spacers. Cheers.

Yeah, I was wondering where the cams were on your list.

I presume if they're Poncams, they might be Type-B or Type-R > bottom end power > steeper dyno curve.

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
