jimmybrah
hey new to this site so dont know if anyones posted or tried this, ive seen some stroker kits for rb25 but all of them were for turbo versions only, just wonderingt if they would fit fine on a rb25de? or if not im looking at gaining alot more power from my n/a 34 willing to spend a bit of cash to get it real nice thanks jimmy Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412205-na-r34-with-stroker-kit/ Share on other sites
Captain Natro
Stoker kits will involve low comp pistons and cost an absolute mint. Best bet would be using an rb 30 bottom end and even then it's not worth doing on an NA. If your On ur ps get and exhaust rims and coilovers and wait it out . Search gregs r31 if ur really keen Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412205-na-r34-with-stroker-kit/#findComment-6592410 Share on other sites
jimmybrah
yeah gonna get all that aswell but have been real interested in putting a stroker kit on it or maybe itb's, how much power would i get from a rb30 bottom end? around thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412205-na-r34-with-stroker-kit/#findComment-6592416 Share on other sites
Captain Natro
yeah gonna get all that aswell but have been real interested in putting a stroker kit on it or maybe itb's, how much power would i get from a rb30 bottom end? around thanks IIRC greg made around 180 at the wheels with a thirty bottom end high comp and itbs. Mate in machine work, buying the products and trying to find a tuner and ecu to suit the itbs (good luck) expect big money and a lot of time refer to screamins rb20 for itb knowledge, took him 2 years to get it tuned and set up properly. It's ur car man, I've been down the NA root and decided against it (well kinda, going big capacity ;P). If you have the money there (and I'm talking a lot of money lol) go for it. Better yet go and talk to a fab/work shop and get there opinion. jimmybrah
i would be puttin it all in my self but that would save a bit, but the killer is tuning and finding the right ecu Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412205-na-r34-with-stroker-kit/#findComment-6592434 Share on other sites
Captain Natro
A stroker kit isn't cheap to start with... U can turbo an NA engine and go hi comp low boost there's a thread about it, don't let me discourage u mate but it's just not worth the money IMO. Kinkstaah
Generally no, and they are smart about something as simple as, um, finding a turbo that isn't ordinarily there. You're on the right track about thinking on the subject of invisible engine internals for more POWAAAAH but in reality you would be paying way, way, way, way more on the stroker kit, labor, tuning, maybe double or more than the cost of buying the entire car (or buying a turbo). Save the forged engine/stroker kit money for a turbo engine model car when you can legally drive it, unless you're swimming in money and it doesnt matter at all, in which case just get a FT86 and put good ol P plates on it, like I've seen getting around.. Captain Natro
If you want to go fast on your p's, go and buy a crossflow cortina or a 265 centura, keep it natro and bomb the hell out of the motor and box. Regularly see both cars into the 12s on natro engines Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412205-na-r34-with-stroker-kit/#findComment-6592818 Share on other sites

But in all seriousness I wouldn't go racing any magnas in your stock natro... You Wont lose but, its hardly a convincing win. mad082
aw you guys......... and if it's a manual magna, you won't beat it in a natro skyline without work done. auto you may, but manual you won't, especially if it's a vrx and SSS go well with a set of extractors. they make a big difference Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412205-na-r34-with-stroker-kit/#findComment-6597858 Share on other sites
