Got my rear tyres fitted, 255, 40, 17. Must massage the guards out a little more, 10-15mm.

Got the box made last night, to cover my wiring mess. fits good, and i didnt snap it this time as ive made it stronger.

All the little hoses and bits connected up, now i have to make some bits to mount the oil and pwr steering coolers properly.

And then more stuff to make properly, no more bodgy brackets with rivets and stuff. Radiator top brackets are going to be tricky to make look good.

Gave my back a good twist this morning, so i was like an old man all day. Last nights chilli & pepperoni added to the effect.

But i did manage to get some stuff done, a bit of fabricating, new steering cooler, getting it together.

Cleaned out the back seats and floor mats and door cards with the shampoo vacuum.

This was the result.

Also pulled out my 02 sensor to have a look at at, Looks to be the original one =\. Hopefully my new one rocks up before I go back to work on Thursday.

If the weather is good tomorrow i'll knock up some brackets and fit my greddy oil cooler.

I keep thinking my car is all good then i see the front =\ Fingers crossed the panel shop calls me before friday so i can get it fixed.

Fitted the oil cooler. Lines took ages to run because we couldn't work out where they were meant to go then found a picture online.

Just need to get a smaller diameter oil filter because the z145a fouls on the sandwich plate.

Once i find a filter that fits I can start it up and check for leaks and relocate one of the horns and the air temp sensor.

why you no listen

Z442 which is slightly smaller in diameter and height (in comparison to the Z145a

Finished the engine bay finally. Took a lot longer than i thought it would.

Thats the problem with too many mods, you have to work it out yourself, how its all going together.

A transmission cooler off a ford at the wreckers, nice and solid, for a return line fuel cooler behind the diff. And $115 delivered, cheapest i could find, made in taiwan.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
