If i was good with electronics, id make a new controller.

It has to recognise the switches at the top and bottom, so it turns off at the right time, and doesent strip the gears.

Tricky. Maybe gut one from another car? I dunno.

Swapped back to the old muffler today.

Someone re welded my pipe, now it fits even better. Sweeet. :D

Also my $20 pyrometer, the window net and mount came today.

Think ill cut a slot in the top of the door trim, and mount the bottom of the net in there.

installed my boost gauge (thanks to rob and mik!) fark its responsive !!

Pretty Snappy hey? :P

Guessing you got it wired up too and you're getting 7psi?

Car looks nice mate.

Yeah I'm going to go the high flow option

Hypergear seems to have nailed it and can make a nice responsive 250 on pump and around 300-310 on E85

I'll just sell off the SS1PU turbo to purchase it.

Also respect for your post in wasteland

Not many people call them out these days

Richard I don't think yours is maxed OP6 makes more power but with a little lag. Mine is a 21U which is from a 33. I'm guessing maybe 280kw on E85 with about 16-18psi of boost.

edit: realised you have auto so that's probably why

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
