Had a fiddle with tyre pressures today and managed to get pulled over by the police, The police officer was cool and had a little look over the car and did not say anything besides "it looks well looked after".

You have to be happy with that

ACT police don't seem like a bad bunch

Agreed. Far less painful than in some other states, unless your a dickhead then you generally get equal and warranted treatment

Exactly right!

I have driven past them, had the behind me and been breath tested and never had an issue. It doesn't seem like they have the same import attitude that other states do

Totally agree with that one. I've been pulled over plenty of times. Even had my car checked over by a couple guys in suits with the coppers a couple of months ago dropping a mate home at about 2am. No issues whatsoever :)

Dickson make up for what the cops don't do though.

Just now I've booked the Stag in for a roadworthy inspection at Dickson for Monday afternoon.

(was going to go with Ultimate Tunes but the car has the Purple import sticker, lame)

*fingers crossed*

Be careful with car cover. If the car is even a little dirty, it will scratch and wind blowing the cover may also scratch.

Just in case... Happy Birthday for Thursdee!

Finally a teenager. :D

Haha you nob head.

Yeah - might take it for a full detail somewhere as I don't trust myself to get every spot. Ease of mind as well.

they will just take a cut compound to the car. Invest in a good wax and keep the wax up.

SkyWagon Lukey Extractors on! Thanks to Roadway Exhaust.

All new Studs. (Five out of Twelve were broken)

Put Stock airbox back on a couple of days ago. Seems happier without the Pod. :/

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
