Fuel Issues

hey just after some advice regarding fuel pumps..seems after i installed my dw301 fuel pump the car now runs like shit(very rich im assuming) just wanted to know if this is a common problem that would just require a tune which i will be getting soon as im installing new turbo and other supporting mods etc....any help would be greatly appreciated

Could do. Would depend on whether the old pump was getting soft at high flows and the car was tuned that way. If it was, then it would run richer (at high flows) than it used to.

well the car has a factory ecu at the moment but plan on taking it to pulse racing for a link g4 and a tune...any things i should be specifically looking at in the mean time as i would like to iron out most of the problems before it goes there to save me a bit of cash

Set of new plugs -coils if necessary - check for boost leaks. Unless you are upgrading your injectors consider getting them cleaned and flow tested.

Yeah got new injectors ready to go in...it only started happening a short time after the pump went in so i thought maybe this is a common thing
