Does seem a little high, but wow where do you start.

1) what oil are you using

2) How old and how many k's has it done

3) do you drive teh car regularly or does it sit in the garage for weeks

4) what's the road like? freeway and sitting on 3500rpm for an hour, suburban stop start, backstreet hill climb course.

5) did it get back down if you took it easy and dropped the revs

There could be a heap of reasons not related to a "fault" so rule those out first.

Also again way too many unknown's but most good oil is fine up to around 130deg.

How far off is 150 compared to where it normally sits for you?

Oil cooler would easily get that down.

I have the same issue . I have a r33 gtr. Completely stock.

Oils temp goes up to 130-140 and increasing - if I just cruise at 120kph on freeway for any extended period.

So I have to back off to 100kph. Which is frustrating.

I use top grade motul. Car is driven 1-2 times per month.

What is wrong with it- as I'm using it as standard and sure this should not be happening
