Just got home up and opened one of the parcels waiting for me, this thing is pretty big haha

Yum

Pretty sure it's a twin scroll Super94 HTA :)

So, how much work is lined up to be done before this thing comes to life and finds a dyno?

Hey XKLABA, are you running a HTA turbo in your GTR? How did Scott from Insight like it?

I had my 34 tuned by him, can't wait to take it back once all the upgrades are in

Nah, twin GT-RSs

How good is Scott as a tuner :)

I am looking into an upgrade ATM and one of the crazy ideas I'm having is twin 3071s using the GT-RS from cover, just sorting out the rears, Kando have a T25 GT30 rear housing for a 90 trim so its a matter of seeing if it can be machined to fit and made to go into the factory location

:D that's how I roll

Yeah its the super 94 twin scroll, the motor should be nearly finished by lewis maybe 2 more weeks then shipped to gold coast to be fitted and a run in tune so should be running within a month but I work away so its a pain in the ass trying to organize stuff but getting closer now, heres some more hta porn

Looks the business! It's really going to look tough in there, and that's not even touching on the insanity it's capable of creating. Your car really really is going to be a complete monster, soon. Nice work.

My GTRS recently decided to die on me :(

Planning on getting it rebuilt to get me through the next few months of events then the car comes off the road for some major work :D

Scott is a great tuner, he did a very nice job with the 34. I hit a few limitations with the car and Scott made it a safe tune with still getting nice results

My mechanic is very pleased with Scott's work as well and is sending any car that he works on to him

That could be quite an interesting combination. If you are exploring that kind of idea - why not see if twin GTX3067Rs can be made up, using the 90 trim turbine?

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
