R32 Front Reo Fabrication

I have to re-arrange and make it stronger.

I need to fit a tow strap down there, so the intercooler has to come up.

Also its not much of a reo at the moment, it needs to be stronger.

Has anyone made one? If so, please show me a photo of it.

so you don't/can't run the standard reo?

I have a tow strap on mine, bolted on (with grommets) where the reo bolts to the chassis rails

I never had one.

Im thinking ill have to modify one a lot, so i might as well make one.

Ill make it out of steel, cos i cant do alloy yet.

Hmm, good spot for the strap, nice and strong, ill have to see if it lines up with a hole in the bumper.

10cm C channel i guess , what thickness ?

yes 100 x 50 channel

3mm thick, good quality steel.

got a little more done today, added corners and getting the brackets sorted.
