Mugabetown - Whoretownin' At It's Worst.

Recommended Posts

I know that there's some 80 year old guy in England who has about 12 different degrees, and even a few doctorates in those fiels. Obviously he has the superior knowledge of RB engines!

Depends if he is trade qualified and builds RB engines also?

So using your thought process, wouldn't an opinion from a qualified source be more plausible than an opinion from a less qualified source?

And what subjectivity is offered to the comparisons of level of qualification? Is it proven academic results, real life results etc?

In which case, and adopting this logic, I get my info from my brother in law, when I need it and he balances some of Sydney's biggest hitting Skylines. Also John Skola - ex Dick Johnson Sierra days engineer. Their penises are definitely bigger lol

Function is form.

I'm failing to see the argument here. Bunta cited Alan Heaphy, who built one of the most famous R32 GT-Rs in Australian motor racing history. Wouldn't his feats demonstrate his knowledge on the topic?

Ohhhhh, Like in this instance, you would need to show a crank trigger and mounting kit produced easily and cheaply by a local machine shop. Now if only I had done that already! Damn :(

Can I just say that I have no qualifications?

Got a phatt stack and some epic wide wheels tho ;)

And a big shed. And really, that's all that matters :P

FFS peoples, let it go please.

Wow...

Sooo, I bought lights yesterday... And I now have a house with doors and windows, no bricks but still... It's like Bear in the big blue house with all that insulation wrap stuff...

It's a bit old hat. The technology has moved on. They make more power now. Kind of like Mike Vine used to make the best manifolds.

See this:

And now the power figure on this:

Did I mention both Adam Neish and Bobby are good mates ;)

I have multiple qualifications yayyy!!

People still think I'm fkn retarded tho because I suck at simple shit like... Left and Right or don't touch it, it's hot...

Perfect example, yesterday I discussed our electrical plans and quotes and contracts and timeframes and the banks requirements and everything else with with the lighting supplier and then Zane had to tell me how to open the door to get out of the shop *facepalm*

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
