A lady friend of mine has an R33 sedan and has blown the engine. She has been offered a complete de Neo out of a wrecked R34. Did a bit of a search but didnt get a definative answer. A couple of questions:

1. Will it fit up to her auto box.

2. Can it be made to run on the R33 ecu etc. or will it need the neo ecu and a rewire.

3. Any other mods needed.

Sensible answers please fellas I just need to know what would have to be done if its possible. Engine is in really good nick I am told and she can get it for very low dollars.

S1 and s2 r34 ran a different auto so the 33 ecu may not like that, depends on the donor engine.

Neo ecu and rewire probably best option

^^^Like he says - if its same as the Stagea the R33 auto ecu is in the main ecu unlike the R34 so you will need to keep the R33 ecu and loom and adapt the Neo to suit if possible. You may be able to re use the R33 coils and injectors where they are different. I am not sure about the VCT differences. If you want certainty you could probably pull the head off the R33 if it is in good nick and put that on the Neo block and then it should be pretty straightforward.

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
