Save money, sell car, buy GTR, ???, Profit?

or

Fluids, brakes and rotors etc. Then spend 6k on tyres and entry fees into sprint days, hill climbs, drift days, skid pans etc.

or

6-7k on hookers and blow.

All 3 options are better avenues than a slight power upgrade in a 33...

So coming to end of the year ill be finished with paying off the car.

Want to upgrade the car

All suspension side is sorted(away bars, coil overs, bracing, bushes etc.)

So I was thinking front mount with plenum gtr style, 80mm throttle body, upgraded fuel rail, hi flow 34 turbo, electronic boost tee, electronic bov, 450lph fuel pump, 550cc injectors, Ecu ( not sure on Ecu yet), fix the zorst and new clutch and clutch lines

Then a pain after all that

Any other mods? Or suggestions to not do some? Or brands

anything

Numbers for new to town ladies

Cheap parts

plenum is a waste of money with such little mods, ditto for the throttle body and fuel rail.

550 injectors in the standard fuel rail with the standard fuel pressure regulator.

boost controller, high flow turbo or similar bolt on kit, stock bov with the top crushed to increase spring pressure (there is a thread on here about it somewhere) 255lph fuel pump, 400 is overkill.

all you blokes saying full fluid flush and better fluids, done.... first thing when i got the car

new engine oil every 4000 and the gearbox diff got flushed out new oils and the additives aswell

clutch and brake fluid is racing dot 4

coolant done the other week

fpr is stuffed so i need a new one, and the dampener.
bov leaking

more just research and saving atm so i know what i need to save for

so if anyone can give me brands they recommend that would be MAD!

This. About $400 for the fronts tho.

If I recall going through brakesdirect/ GSL rally they were $180 per rotor for front and yeah as Tony said $80 for the HPX pads.

GTR radiator could help. They're full aluminium and a cheap upgrade.

Pretty sure they are identical to the gtst one alloy core plastic end tanks.

The mods sound about right.

Nistune

R34 highflow

500ish cc injectors

Fuel pump? If not already done.

Front mount, I reccommend the return flow ones.

Boost controller

Some sort of plumbed back bov and boom 270 to 290rwkw of super fun happytimes.

Forget the plenum. I made 330rwkw using the stock one. You will be fine.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
