Stock R34 Turbo

Is running a stock r34 turbo capable of running .8-1 bar of boost sifficantly? Or will it shit itself eventually?

Well mine is running 1 bar ATM it seems fine I give it abit sometimes but drive it like 15mins a day if that every second day

this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question that causes many arguements... search and you will see.

There is too many factors to judge this... example of my car.. stock turbo tuned to run at 13psi.... lasted me 60,000km of pretty hard driving and a couple of track days... then one night doing nothing silly BANG!

Yet my bro at 12psi lasted 8,000km in his R34

so will it last... yes

When I put mine on the dyno, stock turbo, fmic and Pfc the turbo stopped making power after 12pound! We screwed it to 1bar and it lost power!

I think keep it around 12 pound and your turbo will last a lot longer then at 1 bar and u make more power!

i think if you want more power, upgrade the turbo, you will only get so much from the stock
