Hey guys,

I’m selling my 1999 black nissan skyline r34 25gt non turbo automatic as a whole and as is, written off and damaged. I was hit at the back while stopped at a red traffic light, so there’s major damage to the rear and its surroundings.

It’s still able to start and run without problems, so mechanically, it’s in good condition. It’s got new brake pads, aftermarket radiator, pod and 4 new tyres that are just 2 weeks driven. I don't know why they said it's non-repairable. Looks repairable to me. anyways.. cant do anything about it..

I’ve researched individual prices for most of the salvageable parts that I know of which ended up with a $6000 value based on previous sales on SAU forums. Therefore, I am looking for $3000 so you can make double if you wreck and sell. I just don’t have the time and skill to do this.

PM me if you want to buy.

Please note, I’m only selling this as a whole and not going to be wrecking, or disassembling any parts!

Will do a trade if I like the item/s you trade, just offer me!

Thanks for looking!

Just a quick note: according to my insurer & smash repairer, the car is written off; meaning it can't be re-registered.

It can only be used as parts or used as a project car on the track.

If anyone knows how to get "Authorisation to repair" status on the vehicle, please let me know. :)

Offers for just the wing?.. it's already parted.. easy.. but I really want to keep it to help sell the whole car! :(

and.. not going to be removing any other parts because I don't have the skill, time and patience.

Gotta be quick!

If my white 34 starts acting up, parts are going to be sold to myself for free!

I'd love to have those xenons, radiator and new pads! Unfortunately, the new tyres wont fit :(

  • 2 weeks later...

Yes that is right.

The stock one is built into the stock radiator I believe?

The old one was leaking and couldn't get another one on short notice.

It was replaced with a new and better one, as I have been told. :)

and the old one was thrown away

I don't know. My mechanic took care of it.

He said the radiator needs to be replaced,

and since its an auto, a transmission cooler was also added.

Sorry to those who were interested in parts.

The car is now sold. Thank you to the buyer.

Those interested in the wing, they put it in the backseat.

Sad to let it go, my first car.

Thanks Bonn, It was worth the trip from Melbourne to come and pick the car up.Mate, I totally feel for you, after driving the car around the block here in Melbourne last night. I just cant believe how good the ride is and you cant even feel that its a write-off. Well I have to start stripping it off, as I need few parts off it. Do let me know if anybody needs any particular parts from it.Hope you dont mind me hijacking your thread.

Are you by any chance selling the headlights and bonnet?

Mate, I have used the bonnet, but I got a set of non Xenon lights, which I paid 650 pair with the light fittings intact, can do that for 500

    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
    • You think its the AFM? I know its a common issues on R32s. I find it coincidental how this issue raised right after cleaning the fuel system. As everything except the fuel system was fine before. I tried running it with the IACV unplugged but did not notice a difference and still stalled. However, the RPM gauge is not in the cluster right now, so I will need to connect the laptop again and use Nistune to check the RPM. I will check this weekend.
