Annoying Door/reminder Chime

Hi All,

This is probably been covered before but I could not find any topic or discussion to this and I did search but no avail.

Does anyone know where is this electronic chime is located? I looked under the steering wheel but I just could not find it. Its annoying the crap out of me. Has anyone disabled one of this unit before. Everytime I put the car in reverse it beeps and beeps. I just want it stop..help.

The door one can be solved by unscrewing the little rubber bung on the body of the car in the door jam a few screws.

A warning however, it will mean that the car doesn't see the door as opening, and can re-lock itself with anything you left inside.... like the keys....

The reverse, i dunno or really care that much.

I tend to sing really loud the moment I start reversing - this tends to drown out the annoying chime.

Ask my wife which one is more annoying & I might be surprised by the answer.
