Oh cheers for the offer mate but I'm located in brisbane.

What's the trick on not stalling it?

just don't hesitate and just slip it as you increase revs.. I can drive it like a normal person without riding it... all my mates stall it and hop it.. it's so funny watching them

Or NPC organic, drives like a normal clutch for good reason.

Fat slug Stagea 275rwkw no issues for years.

Certainly if you are going to abuse the clutch then you might want the carbotic but don't dismiss the NPC organic.

maybe the material costs?

I've never used a kevlar clutch before so I can't comment.. but a ceramic vs. carbotic I must say the ceramic is easier to drive :)

It takes a man to drive a carbotic clutch, I'm pretty used to mine and can go through Sydney traffic without stalling it (when I'm alert, when I'm tired after work it's stall-o-matic)

It took me maybe a week at most to get used to it. Now i can drive it around no worries at all, people outside couldn't tell the difference between me driving stock and carbotic. Although trying to take off uphill is a different story haha.

Agreed. One of the funniest things you can do is let your mate drive and sit back and laugh.

Anyone used a 10" Kevlar button or 10" carbotic button from NPC?

If so what did you think? How do they drive in the street?

maybe the material costs?

yeah carbotic here....its pretty damn good to drive around in...can be a little edgy on first gear takeoffs like any button I guess, it takes concentration to get off smoothly so I just chirp it most of the time... .So stop start traffic could be a little annoying..I don't drive in it so don't care, if you do alot maybe look at one of the other options.. but if you are on a tight budget its beautiful everywhere else and will take an absolute beating...

They said abit over the power range for an organic. Pretty much every time the car goes out it cops a beating so I guess I'll be going with the carbotic sounds like the best option on everyone's feedback. Best for my budged to.

Will give feedback once its installed :)

Cheers for all the feedback guys, great help

    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
