Hi All,

Selling an R33 GTST Series 2 Manual.

Clean car and completely stock with 91xxx kms - car was owned by my brother for 1 year and then garaged for a further 4 years before being purchased by me due to him having his third child and not wanting the car.

Have just changed the fuel filter, oil filter (castrol edge Full synth oil), new genuine O2 sensor and iridium plugs.

Looking for $9500 but open to offers - Located Glenmore Park NSW - not after trades as I already have a R34 and a R32 and do not have need for another car.

Only have the one photo at the moment but will upload some more when I get home tonight.

if you can keep it until after xmas do that mate. cars like this are going for 5-6 grand in melbourne at the mo. its a buyers market. it sucks. for instance a forum member on here picked up a 34 gtt manual for 5 grand.

good luck with the sale mate!

yeah, i dont need to sell it.. its just wasting rego sitting in my garage.. when someone could be enjoying it. At 5k though id just strip it and turn it into a track car....

exactly, and this was 34 for 5k. prices are nuts. redbook value is killing skyline owners in melbourne.

Redbook? Who goes by that junk? How can that be used as a tool to estimate used car value, especially a 14+ year old skyline... They vary greatly in condition and many factors can influence the final price.

Good luck with the sale mate.

Correct!

Dec/Jan are hard months to sell & Feb isn't much better.

And it's an R33. Unfortunately, there isn't many of us as sick as me that just want all of the R33s... You're going to either: Sell it cheaper than you want, leave it in your garage, or turn it into a track car.

I vote option three, keep it motor wise as stock as possible (Just get a good rad and oil cooler in there, open the exhaust and inlet up, and go drive it like that on the track and have a ball!)

dont want to side track this thread as i want to sell this, however do you think id have more luck selling a track r32 gtst with an rb25det conversion which can still be road registered? one of them needs to go and one will be track.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
