Its an 97 r33 gts-4 which is 4 stud, meaning its really hard to find good rims.... so far.

I found some decent looking rims imo, but the problem is im not sure theyll fit, im thinking they wont, but wouldnt hurt to ask.

Personally id prefer 18 inch rims but they are kinda difficult to find.

My car at the moment isnt lowered, its up high as hell i can prob fit my dog in the gap lol, if that helps.

After reading some very old threads ive seen people have had problems fitting 20inch in there r33, so im not going to take the risk and adjust stuff just to fit them in unless its possible i guess...

Anyone seen any rims for sale that you think would look good on an r33? Id want atleast 18 inch, probably willing to go 19 inch max unless 20 fits, but mostly want 18.

Whatever you think looks good, also has to be 4 stud or multi stud? Please post if you see anything!

Yes ive looked all over ebay, gumtree tyre stores etc, im not really sure what to put on this car, seeing as you guys are experts with these kind of cars, i figured youd have more knowledge and know what looks best on these cars.

thanks.

Yeah, not going to get 20s, rims arnt really the best either but being a 4 stud, not that much of a selection.

I found these which i think look pretty good, they come in silver aswell

Ive seen another skyline same colour (silver) but a series 1 have them, they looked pretty good. What do you guys think, would they look good on a r33? If so black or silver?

Its just the stock silver colour they came with. I think im probably going to get those rims, but im also interested in some deep dish with silver lining, i saw one with them and they look sick, just cant find any 4 stud of them so right now im most likely to get those drift teks. I think ill try look for some 2nd hand ones or anything that looks really similar as them, if i cant find any then ill just go down to a shop i know which has them. What would you guys do first, lower your car or fit the rims on them first? Dont really have enough for both at the moment, until my other car gets sold anyway.

Also how much do you think i would get for the rims that are on currently? Once i buy new rims i wont have any use for them.

From what i know, these are called osaka fusion rims. there 17inch multi stud pattern with potenza tyres i think.

What do you think would be a fair price for these when i put them on ebay, they are pretty much in perfect condition not a single scratch, mark, rust or anything, i think whoever put them on the car must of put them on really recently. (i bought the car a few weeks ago)

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
