at this stage most likely an evo of some sort...

looking to downsize money in cars and put more into property, and go back to just one car, so want something fun, i can drive daily, has abit of space (4 doors), is fast and can go to the track inexpensively... evos seem to fit the bill pretty well with the price range im looking at, i know it wont be the same as the gtr though unfortunately ha.

Congrats Isaac. Probably the nicest 34 I have seen as well. Brilliant choice.

Hi Anthony this is Isaac the guy who bought your car :) yeah I'm extremely happy with it and specially how well it was looked after, been told by my mates and mechanic that it's probably the best condition 34GTR they've seen . Looking forward to catch up with some of the skyline forums members when they're going for a cruise.

Ha! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy!!! lol

yea always been more into evos than sti's

haha bring it on!

:P

Will be good to get out on the track with ya man!

Hahahahaha love sti's. Engine is a bit lower down. And handles better with all assist off I find.

But this debate can go on and on. Haha

I've done a clutches, engines and timing belts in both, subaru is a lot easier in all accounts

Im talking modification wise evos are a lot easier. Subarus are shit. I once took a round about in a STi was understeering nearly climbed a kerb as with the evo at a greater speed took it like on rails.

Lol the Evo and STI battle still rages on.

One thing is clear though.

and i just cannot AGREE MORE! LOL!!!

The battle never ends - was lucky to compete in a hillclimb couple years back with a GC8 with DCCD and also had some fun with an EVO - personally i find the Sti's nicer to drive... The evos without any electronics can be a handful.. Agreed on making power on the EVO much easier...

But in the end - its personal preference - either car in good hands - bloody rapid cars...

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
