1/24 Z33 Fairlady Z Nismo S-Tune Model!!!

Recommended Posts

Guys, this has to be the BEST model I've ever seen!!! I just got it today from... you guessed it, Yodobashi Camera, but unfortunately, they didn't have any V35 Skylines there.

Here are some pics of this awesome kit:

The kit, grand total of 3,024 yen.

Hold on... what are all those spare parts in there for??? :(

The kit even came with a screwdriver... at the bottom of the pic are all the Nismo parts you can put on the car.

The detail, for a 1/24th scale die cast model, is aaaaaawesome.

Some of the parts:

Hell, you can even change the gearstick for a Nismo item!!! Look at the seats!

The stock Z33 Fairlady Z. Unfortunately, the doors don't open.

... you can even swap out the stock engine for a Nismo S-Tune item... nice induction pipe detail.

Justin, you didn't buy it because I was giving you crap for not having a V35 model yet when I was over the other day :(.
Nah mate... your not THAT influential!!! :)
Also have you been to that Ferrari and F1 Racing shop under the Hankyu Umeda line?
Nup haven't been there... didn't even know about it...?

I've did have several small die cast models. I use the word did because:

model car + 3 year old who loves toy cars = cars burried in the garden/smashed to bits/launched off the stairs etc etc etc :D

Still got 3 Tamiya plastic model kits - R32 GTR, R33 GTS (in black) and an R34 GTT (they don't make a GT-V). I've had them for a couple of years, but have yet to find the time to even start making any of them! I'd love one of those 350Z's, but my son wouldn't waste any time giving it his own brand of modifications! :(

where can u get in on the web, if at all?

prob the best model ive seen. and boy, i haven't seen many models!

lot better than the ferrari i glued together, with smears on the windscreen and the engine glued together wrong. do u put it together?

Ok, please reply to this post those who are POSITIVE they want to fork out in the vicinity 5,000 yen for one of these S-Tune Fairlady Zs. Minimum of 3 seperate orders to go ahead with the transaction. Will be shipped direct to your door. Please don't send a PM, I will not respond... that goes for e-mail too.

Once I get confirmation of at least 3 orders, I'll then PM payment details. Once payment has been made (and verified), cars will arrive within 5 - 14 days (max).

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
