bolts look dressy mate

did you have fun getting the parcel shelf out ?

drop by next weekend and see if your interested in a mint steering wheel at a modest price

tempting you.... :whistling:.

a rear wiper delete plug or place cap over wiper nut (or spray black till your ready)

Getting the parcel shelf out wasn't that bad. But the drivers side lock that holds the rear seat in was a bitch. I was very happy with how clean it was under the seats. I didn't have to do much.

Wanting to go out and put more parts on currently but it's -4 outside and well.... It's warm in here. Will wait for the sun to peak out properly.

  • 2 weeks later...

Didn't do much on the weekend due to the weather being crap.

Pulled the washer bottle and radiator overflow out for painting (again but with good paint) and will be adding a few minor details to those, lets pray the weather is nice enough to paint this weekend.

Polished the radiator and the catchcan. Ordered a couple more braided lines. Attempted to pull the spoiler off but it does not want to move. Will have to be more careful when i have more time.

And cleaned the headlights.

Re did all my vacuum lines with new aeroflow ones, and painted the symbol on the lid of my washer bottle red. Makes it look heaps better.

And polished and cleaned most of the car including doing a complete interior clean.

Also ordered more OEM parts. Got so much crap coming i forgot what i ordered :\

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
