Hi All

Looking for the best dealer I can get genuine Nismo 555 injectors from for my R33 Skyline.

I'm thinking of getting it from here(seller jdmplanet on eGay):

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISMO-555CC-INJECTOR-SKYLINE-R33-ENR33-ER33-ECR33-RB25-RB25DET-X-1-/221185258946?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item337fab35c2&_uhb=1

Total cost = $960 including postage.

Any other reputable dealers I could buy from? $960 a good price for Nismos?

I was just offered r35 gtr injectors for my stagea (rb25neo) which are 580cc for I think $780 from kudos motorsport, I'm sure you have a different motor but they probanly have similar stock to suit your car for a better prica than the egay stuff

thanks for letting me know man,il have a look

Thats a rort dude! Don't buy them pretty sure you could get 1000cc injectors of a far better calibre than shitty old school nismo injectors ;) when I modded my 33 I got 850cc Power enterprise injectors for $850 like 4 years ago... Same injectors too I think "rebranded" (sards)

^^ This.

$600 for Xspurt 1000's, $100 to $200 for a rail, why would you bother with side feeds these days?

35GTR injectors, wow, they must be good.

I'm not mechanically inclined in any sense of the word. My car is daily driver , and even 550cc is probably overkill for what im chasing (230rwkw), I dont want to have to mess around with adding rails etc. I'd like drop in injectors that are quality , known to perform well and work. Side feeds are of course the only ones that would be drop in.

Crunch the numbers man its still $60 cheaper?!

There isnt gunna be any additional costs in installation with the top feed injectors & rail as the rail comes out to install the injectors anyways..Xspurts are gunna drive SOOO much better throttle response will be better spray pattern will be much better which will probably aid in fuel economy and save you $$$ down the line anyways. Honestly old tech injectors like the densos are MILES behind EV14's & sure you wont see it on a dyno sheet BUT you will notice the difference driving it and putting around on light throttle etc..

hmm tell me more about these xpurts....reputable brand? what else would i need to modify my rb25det s2 to fit top feeds? also isnt 1000cc overkill, its my daily and only looking for 230rwkw

whats the disadvantage of going 850cc or 1000cc instead of 550cc?harder to tune?

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
