Sorry for the hijack but I'm going to put my 1200cc injectors in before I put the HKZ td09 304/305 compressor housing wheel in the tubine housing wastegate because the efficiency of the thermal uptake is more likely to result in increased lag as opposed to response for my 5.43 AR housing outflow mechanism.

If you get what I mean.

:uhh: yeah I like queensland better too

I was thinking I might do the same, but use a 5.32 instead of the 5.43 for slighlty better spool time.

If you do that you'll run out of efficiency at 11,000 rpm or so. There's only so much egg a super NAWS cylinder can effectively evenly burnrate my arse hairs.

ps. I used to live at the top of McLeod st near the pool.

R u talking about cairns or am i having another blonde moment?

Right up the top behind the primary school where that kid got burnt with petrol. Used to catch mud crabs in the creek beside our house and eat them for breakfast with pineapples, mangos and avocados growing in the yard to keep us alive.

I loved the place. Also lived in Mareeba :ugh: for a while.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
