GTR Key

WTF? Dave told me he could only get the Nismo key? You realise I'm not talking about what car the key is for? There are two types you can buy for a skyline, one has 'nismo' on it the other has 'GTR' both silver keys.

This is the nismo one:

the GTR one is the same except it says GTR where this one says nismo.

(not being a smartarse, just trying to work out what's going on) :)

Richard

Yeah i know there are 2 diff ones, Dave told me he could get me a GTR key, not a nismo one, i already have one that came with my GTR, but i dont have a spare key, hence wanting another GTR key... :)

I didnt order anything from this group buy, but I'd say this is a poor effort on dAVE's behalf, what a disgrace!! From a moderator too... you cant trust anyone. I was considering buying some wheels through him but I doubt it now!

The lack of response from dAVE would be very frustrating for those waiting.. I'm guessing what happened is dAVE got smacked with a large customs bill which was unexpected but hard luck, buyers shouldnt have to miss out.

/end rant

Well hold up.. i saw someone mention he hasnt been on msn lately. Something could of happened god forbid and that is why. It may not be Daves fault as it is very unlikely of Dave to just ignore this.. ive delt with him before and all was good. But i wudnt mind my money or my parts lol

yes i agree.

i paid dave immediately when i saw he was doing a 3rd group buy (since i was too slow for the first 2 group buys).

its been over 3 months since i've paid him, and i cant believe i'm still waiting...

i think the only way this matter can be resolved is if one of the other moderators tries to do something about this.

I've tried to get into contact with him, I'm a moderator and I was in this group buy. Other moderators have tried to get into contact with him, HELL, even the site administrator/owner has tried.

I honestly believe the parts that have been sent out were from the first order dave received. He said a while back that he had received half the package adn the other half was on it's way. I think the people that have received their goods, were goods from that first package.

Just my thought anyway.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
