Ben C34
Im guessing it was overfilled by atleast 2 ltrs but it was never blowing as much snoke the. Last couple of days so doesnt make sence. We will see soon what happens but atm still no idea You must have some idea. It's either due to your crazy overfill. Or engine has busted some ring lands Or turbo seals have gone. As discussed in this thread. 2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7319396 Share on other sites

Yeedogga
Oil dipstick being forced out also sounds like excessive crank-case pressure build up. Could be worn rings creating excess crankcase pressure or blocked breather setup not allowing crank to breathe. Excess crankcase pressure could also cause oil seals to leak.. hesh12445
Ok my comp were 160s across the board. I changed oil put oil thickner in it and it stopped blowing blue smoke under boost only sometimes and now it just blows on idle when revving blue smoke occurs and when coming of the excellerator underload it blows blue smoke Its now blowing alot of black smoke and big flames and all of a sudden theres no performance in second gear! Third gear is coming on boost but not as it use to very slow and not as crazy. My dipstick is blowing anymore and i checked my pcv hoses including one to the turbo and theres only a smir of oil but theres smoke coming out of the hoses have no idea what that means but no oil at all? Im leaning towards turbos only because the performance of the car is really bad and it all of a sudden running really f*kn rich? Any thoughts i will not purchase a catch can if theres no excessive oil coming out the breather system. Maybe valve stem seals? Any ideas im leanig towards turbos guys but again therre was only a smir of oil in the intercooler pipe nothing crazy Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7319747 Share on other sites
hesh12445
Blows alot of blue smoke when revving it on idle like alotttttt! ima_slap_joO
Yeah maybe you should stop driving it so much while there is a definite issue with the car, you could have even destroyed the turbos running that much boost. Park the car up and remove the intercooler piping to the turbos and have a look there like the guys have said. There shouldn't be very much oil but if there is pooling there that is your issue. Pull the dumps off at the rear of the turbos and have a look in there as well, you might be missing the exhaust wheel on one turbo. If you haven't got the mech know how to get that done just tow it to your mechanic and leave it there until it is diagnosed. It's not worth destroying your engine by running it and trying to boost while you have some major oil issue. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7320736 Share on other sites
hesh12445
Ok i am guessing it is valve stem seals as comp test shows all same readings across the board. Turbors are very non responsive but still making boost just not as aggressive so thats 1 problem but im saying valve stem seals purely because it now happebs in 3gear and 4 th when i give it to about 6-7000rpm abd deexcelerate and let the rpms fall smoke gushess out everywhere like a bush fire abd its blue. Its there when im boosting it but jot as much as when im deexcelerating the car so my gues is valve stem seals i put oil thickner with 10/40 and did nothing at all? 34luv
When you open oil cap or oil dipstick and underload does it smoke out there abit..? Ben C34
Im Guessing it's not valve stem seals. It's oil in the inlet manifold or intercooler caused by the overfill. Investigate that further before you blow your money. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7321663 Share on other sites

hesh12445
Nothing no smoke when i remove cap or dipstick! When i remov the hoses for pcv system i see smoke coming out of the hoses? Just a bit like very little smoke. I will rip of all the piping tonight and look closer to the intrcopler for oil because i removed the big ass intercooler pipe near the Y pipe and smir of oil pn the pipe so thats why i discard it from being turbos though ill take of the pipe to the cooler and see if its all hanging down there i want an excuse to go single loll Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7321773 Share on other sites
hesh12445
The fact it doesnt do it on idle when cold shows me its only on revving down from high rpm and underload on boost and on idle when revving it! I dont think turbos it might be but i dont think so there was a smir of oil in Y pipe i think valve stem seals or maybe a piston ring landin Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7321913 Share on other sites

Daza33
Valve stem seals tend to show when you have let the car sit for a bit then take off. Does it blow smoke on startup after leaving the car for a few hours? If not I highly doubt it's valve stem seals. Also I wouldnt be putting oil thickiner in an engine that takes thin fully synthetic oil Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7322122 Share on other sites

hesh12445
Cylinder comp test on cold i just did one on warm showed those results im not to worried about 1-5. They all show same its number 6 at 70. Now the question remains why it happened and what part went wrong and do i blame my tuner it lasted 2 days of dyno Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/444764-rb26-blowing-alot-of-blue-smoke-urgent-help/page/2/#findComment-7322291 Share on other sites
