Sorry if i'm not using the proper vernacular, from the US.

So i'm replacing the leather on the shift and ebrake boot. Shifter was easy to figure out but the brake not so much, what do you have to do to get that off?

edit: sorry forgot to say it's a R32 GTS-t

It has strengthened wire around the perimeter that clips under the lip/s.

Just pull it out using a flat head screw driver as a wedge to push it down and out from the plastic surround.

Unclip and slip it off the hand break leaver. Once you have it off you will see what I mean.

Put the new one on in reverse.
