Heaps of places to eat, but the 3 I listed are places you're going to want to sit down and order something decent, all of which are easily accessed from the highway and easy to get back to it.

Glenrowan has a Maccas right on the highway, it's an hour south of Wodonga. Next Maccas is Yass which is a good few hours further North. Plnety of fast food places close to the highway exits here too.

Just not sure how filthy you want to eat :D

Cheers mate, I'm picking someone up in Wadonga so I'll be sitting down for a proper breaky and will check out one of the joints you listed :)

If you're specifically "in" Wodonga then none of those might be a good choice as they're all in Albury - La Maisons is on the causeway between the two towns though.

In Wodonga you can try Cafe Grove in High Street or Cafe Elmwood on Beechworth Road.

If you go to La Maison's and Wasim is there, looks like a younger plumper Sylvester Stallone, tell him I said Hi and to look after you.

No worries, thanks for all the tips. Cafe Grove is where I stopped last year so might check out Cafe Elmwood for something different.

Now it's time to knock off work and clock on the cans. See ya up there boys.

Might catch you there - Maybe I should wear a name tag....

Can't remember if I asked this.

Is there any drinking at WTAC? I assume there is no BYO.

think I recall someone saying something about a bar? I assume that price gouging comes as standard?

Not looking to get hammered, but not opposed to a few bevvies.

Any rules on this? Is a six pack the limit?

Also I'm not familiar with EC layout in terms of parking myself and an esky somewhere? Grandstand?

Camping chairs a good idea?

they say no alcohol permitted outside the bar areas. they dont have a shit ton of security and so long as ur not walking the pits with a bottle of jack or some cans I say u will be fine..

setup on the hills or in the grandstand down em and then go for a walk

    • For race cars, this is one part where I find having the roll cage bar having gone through a hole in the floor better than the build it up on a ledge inside... The Merc I help on, the main hoop ends are marked on the car, and the jack is marked... Jack goes under a few inches and lifts one whole side of the car up... Removes that fight for long slim jacks for race car duties!   My biggest issue for the daily drivers I work on, is my jacks don't go high enough. The jacks start out on a few blocks, jack it up, then start a second jack under it on more blocks, and then I can get an axle stand under it. My axle stands are presently in use, and are nearly fully extended. The car is sitting with barely more than a cm of clearance to get the wheel off the studs! Sarah's Kluger is the same, as it has an ungodly amount of droop available in the suspension and a distinct lack of good jacking points!
    • Happy? Yep, my to do list is getting shorter and shorter. Either this light approaching is the end of the tunnel, or I'm about to be hit by a train... Ha ha ha   Also, Duncan isn't that far out of town that you need to make a multi day drive out of it. 😛
    • Sorry I meant that we are building the EH for a client.
    • LOL, when one "money pit" is never enough Noice, and excellent work mate
    • I have more than enough digging, laying blocks, moving gravel, airrating, feeding and top soiling the grass, and setting up the veggie gardens growing some seedlings,  and then removing all the unused rock to keep me busy for the next few months at least,  hopefully the rain stops soon so I can get a few hours in this arvo, but, before that Sunday is washing day, is every body happy, you bet your life we are Nice country road day drives are a day off whenever I'm muscle sore from all the landscaping at the moment, but, more epic multiple day drives will start once the majority of the big jobs outside are completed
