Ben C34
That would likely be the shift solenoid (valve) A . Time to go to a specialist. (4 speed auto by the way) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/445838-problem-with-the-gearbox/#findComment-7357731 Share on other sites

GTSBoy
You test it by believing what the diagnostic told you and following the advice given to you to go visit an auto trans workshop. Ben C34
As above How do you plan on fixing it if you don't know what it is? Typically when they stuff up it is an intermittent problem. So very hard to diagnose , except for the fact the computer is nice enough to yell you its problem. How about you ring an auto specialist and discuss with them. fahod7
I did went to different workshops and both of them could not find the problem. i paid 1$140 for nothing they just gave me the code and they said we will replace the shift v for $300 with no grantee. ($300) for new solenoid only. in this case what im suppose to say ? I got a second gearbox for $300 and i think im gona buy it instead of fixing mine i have writing this threat to ask if anyone had this problem and what did you do to solve this. GTSBoy
Auto gearboxes are full of fairy dust and witches brew. Normal people do not work on them. AUTO TRANSMISSION SPECIALISTS WORK ON THEM. If you did not go to a proper automatic transmission workshop, then we suggest that you do so. fahod7
Thanx guys for your commons. Most of the workshops told me that they will need to open and drop the gearbox oil and test the sensors. I will do that then will post Many thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/445838-problem-with-the-gearbox/#findComment-7361005 Share on other sites
