Adzmax...that is quite a respectable ride u have urself there...bren and i would be honoured to have that in the movie, and how many times do i ahve to say this, but dont worry dude, it's legit lol

By the way...if you guys still have any doubts...i recommend you speak to Calvin (Nismo Racer) as he was there on the night. He could tell you what it was like.

doesn't matter what it is for or whether it is controlled - if the end product still shows street racing then i'm against it - just be careful or think about how you going to edit and present it.

hey man..i understand how u must feel...but i have to tell u i am against the idea myself. I nearly lost my best friend a while ago because of it...

..however, since it is my best mate that i am helping out here, i am willing to put aside my own judgements about street racing. I just wanted to help him out, and since we both like cars, he thought he'd make a move for his VCE project...and i would help him

Yeh i've been on quite a few big cruises with the starting point at Lonely Planet, it's a great spot for a meet point :( I'll be down for the video too if I have enough notice before the day/night whatever.. here's a pic of my R34:

:P

Thats a PHAT ride...with a capital PH lol

...yeah as it gets closer to filming time..ill notify everyone here...

cuz i saw some sweet rides at Auto Salon a while ago which would look quite nice in the move...but im glad to hear that ur interested...ill keep u all posted

I'd be interested in lending a hand, but there's no way in Hell I'm letting you keep my numberplates in the footage. Even though you know the circumstances of the evening, if that footage falls into the wrong hands, it's possible an infringement/defective vehicle notice could result and that's something I don't need.

So true......

If you get all this footage you're after, then I hope you won't be filming any Skylines Australia stickers on peoples cars, or putting the words Skylines Australia on the video anywhere if it portrays street racing.

This is the kind of image and stereotype that we're trying to get away from.

:(

Boys I watched your little 4 min clip. Looks nice but has the story line of a bad 70's porno and a music that I haven't heared since I was back in year 7.

Plus if your trying to entice some skyline owners you could show more footage of our cars. There was way too much riced up Lancers and was that a modded up Corrola??? What the..... Someones mum will be pissed off when she wants her car back come Monday morning.

Also on your earlier comment on a quarter of a million dollar S15 being there.. I find that remerkable unless the Government has decided to melt their gold bullion into Jap cars and someone nicked it out of the Treasury Vaults

ok first things first

ok, bren most certainly won't be filming the stickers on anyone's car, that would just be harsh. That's asking for a defect. And i understand what you mean about trying to get away from it, the guys from exclusive feel the same way.

I always wanted to star in FnF. What are you gonna call the 3rd one?

Can I have a copy when you're done? I wanna make a few bucks by selling the story to Today Tonight....

lol um..dude i dont think u'd get much money outta it, because for one, it's all verified and legal, and two, brenda's dad works at channel seven mate, so most of em' by now would most probably know about it

haha yer...i dunnoes why bren picked that track, lol i'm still begging him to use the token initial d tune, and thats not the enitre story line btw, (haha Will can't really act, but that's not the point ;) ). Oh and that's why i'm here, to entice the skyline owners and get their cars down there lol, just became a member dude!

hehehehehe this is a funny thread.

can i put my daewoo in it? its a sick 1.6litre manual with a cd plaer from FACTORY!

;)

good luck with it and keep us posted... btw if u dont want ur plates in it... put some fake ones on or something... like those autosalon plates... most of them are cardboard

Hello all....

Details in full:

The footage shown is only clipets for the movie and the purpose of the clip was just to show the general night.

All the footage has been copyrighted under the name of channel 7 melbourne, as i am too lazy to, and my dad's been an employee their for over 20 years now.

Maribrynong St (used in clip) was legally closed off by Traffic King ( Traffic Control and Management Company ) The police were on stand by the whole night, and had only recieved one complaint about excessive smoke coming from the bridge (footscray rd).

In all they were quite pleased, and commended our efforts on the orginisation side of the event.

If you are to bring your car, it is there at your own risk....

There is no liability on the event, all the cars that showed up were there because they chose to be.

Garreth and Calvin witnessed the "drags" which we're very slow for our safety and those around.

In the end the night was a huge success, channel 7 have seen the footage and ask that I set up another as they would like to donate a 6KV generator and a professional Lighting rig aswell as a professional camera crew to make the footage appear at a better quality.

So the next event details will be up soon....

If you would like to come, please do, if not, I respect your decision.

If anyone would like to contact myself personally about the event, please email or call me on:

Kindest Regards

Brendan Beliga

I am sure there will be one in the final one...

Given the Exclusive aspect it will be something like:

Some guy looks at guy's girlfriend at Autosalon

"Dumah, look at my girl I chop you!!!! Let's race!!!"

The they go to Lonely Planet

"My $250k S15 can beat your Lancer with airfilter"

Whhhhh pshhhh grrrrrr phhhhhh rrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooowwwww

"OMG you beat me with your Lancer"

"OMG OMG you r so hansum... let's get married ^_^"

You steal my woman... I chop you!

*FIGHT SCENE*

...sitting on the floor at Bubble

    • sold listed as a Tomei LSD 1.5 Way For 1998+ Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT RB25DE w/Open R200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/174006114594?campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms=&campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=71883f2ccc571356e0a757bc7adfdde2&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms= it went in like butter all gears, alignment, back lash etc, rotation and clearances correct, and if rolling all rotates smooth and free when coasting down road , clutch in or out over 10 mph smooth... its the binding, clunking and jerking from a stop that is most concerning, also seems like its going to tear the tires off in 10 miles of normal road driving.
    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
