Well, another Texi done and dusted. What a cooker of a day.

Super big thanks to all the stewards and helpers. The day ran so smoothly and I noticed lots of improvement from the entrants as the day progressed.

It would have been hard NOT to notice my maiden flights with my new drone and camera. It was a testing session and I've learned quite a lot that will help me improve aerial footage for our next events.

Thanks to all that made the day possible.

Apart from the heat, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The new rules were enforced and there were times I crossed the line a little bit, but if it means this event can happen again in the future, I’m all for complying.

Track time was aplenty. I found the limits of the cooling system on the little RB20 after a longer than usual session on the track.

Aerial footage is great and plenty of driving talent was on display.

Bad luck to the blue R32! I hope the issue gets sorted!

For me, a big service is on the way with an R34 op6 turbo to go on and maybe some more cooling mods.

Hey guys, It was my first time driving a Texi and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I learnt a lot over the course of the day. Officials were great! Courses were great! I will be back for sure! Please dont can this event its a bloody ripper! Definitely a real shame about the blue R32. He will be back. Drone vids are great! Ive got some photos coming in the next couple of days. :yes:

Was a great day and looks like everyone got in lots of runs.

Glad to see everyone having fun.

Hopefully all the cars will be back to 100% soon!

Thanks to everyone for helping and making the day much easier.

Aerial footage is great Eric! Awesome to see another angle :)

Will be looking forward to more.

Well it was my first time being a timekeeper & I absolutely enjoyed it! Seriously. I did :yes:

Even though the numbers were low, it was great seeing the competition rising as we told the times to the competitors. A highlight was when Daniel in the 86 was so engrossed in the sprit of texi that when he missed a turn, he stopped & threw his hands in the air haha.

Aerial footage & pics look great guys!

And I would like to thank the entrants in setting up the cones when they drove over one, it is greatly appreciated.

Also, lunch time discussion on sandwhiches was interesting indeed..

Great to meet you on the day, I was one of the guys in hi-vis counting down your run

tell your friends about the event too. As you can see we don't limit to skylines & we've had a whole range of cars from starlets to ford territories go out & have a run!

Was good to see you get a handle on using your handbrake.

I hope everyone enjoyed the event, hopefully they upload the timesheets soon - even though it's more for fun than being competitive it's still nice for the competitors to see the times they did overall :)

I loved seeing the quadcopter getting around even though the battery doesn't last that long!

Thanks for putting on the event guys, was a very smooth run day. These events needs to continue as they are cheap fun and improve driving skills ten fold.

Thought there would be a pic of my with my head in the boot or bonnet haha!! Turned out its just a stuffed fuel pump! When it was put under load the pump couldnt keep up, however thats why it could free rev! New one is already in and ill be at the next event i can make!!! Need to give it a bluddy run!

Cheers again all, sorry to those i didnt catch up with or say goodbye too as i had to get the car off to the mechanic for him to make sure it wasnt something massive!

Shame you had trouble on the day, but glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious

Is it a Bosch pump that was in the car?

      Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.

      Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.

      Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that

      I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.

      Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
