Hi Guys;

I'm considering purchasing this C34 Stagea with an alleged 57,000 kilometers on it. I'm doing some further investigation and would love to know if anyone personally knows this vehicle?

Thanks in advance.

They mentioned genuine k's twice so that's good. ........

Seriously, there needs to be comprehensive service history to belive those k's and pay a premium for.

I'm currently selling my car cos I'm over it. They aren't that fast or big.

They cost heaps to insure. Theft magnet. No snow in adelaide so no need for awd.

12g gets you a really nice ss.

Input appreciated. The wife isn't keen on a SS unfortunately and is really into Stageas. :[

I've owned several RB engined cars before so knowing my way around the car isn't an issue. I'm finding it very difficult to beleive the kilometers are legitimate mind you.

Looks good. Any service history to back up mileage? A very close inspection should reveal if it is anywhere near a low mileage car. Compression test would be good. Wear on steering wheel. gear lever and indicator stalk etc?

I've been thinking about this too over the last year, but once you go for a drive through a mountain you fall in love again.

They aren't fast and they're big and heavy, but they still get up and go and things like the dash, leather, power everything etc they're great for the money.

I decided to keep mine and couldn't be happier

Pretty hard to believe the kms are genuine, unless its a garage queen. Its like 4000 kms a year.

While I find the handling and steering of the stagea to be better than new cars Ive tried, it comes at the expense of refinement, noise and ride quality.

Still, you love the car for its flaws. Plus with the money you sink into it, it would be silly to sell.

I am selling my RS4S in the very near future but it seems you are looking for an auto.

Ultimately if the km's aren't genuine it doesn't matter as long as you go in with your eyes open and pay a fair price.

I sold my R33 with >220,000 km that I had owned since 2001. I bought it with "57,000km" which was probably not close (who knows??) but nevertheless it provided 13 years good service. When I was selling I still got some punters saying they were looking for lower km examples?!?!?

Good luck, stay patient, something will pop up.

I am selling my stagea s2 dayz edition. Real cheap because I have bought a new car and it got delivered 6 months earlier than expected and need to get rid of it. It is a honest car and the only issue is the rust on the doors that I can have fixed for $600. Also just had gearbox rebuilt 2 weeks ago and got bent over on that.

absolute bargain at $7500 no offers unless they are over the asking price hahaha

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
