Advice For Servicing My 370gt

Hi guys,

Just purchased a 2007 370GT from a dealer. It was said that all good and all checks were done.. But you know dealers right? I want to take the car to get full checked and serviced if not done properly.

I live in Hills district Sydney and there is an Nissan dealer in Castle Hill Showground. Do you guys get your cars serviced in Nissan dealers or do you go some specialists for Import cars like Skylines? Do you have suggestions of where to go near Hills area?

If it's just maintenance stuff really any reputable mechanic should suffice, it's like servicing a maxima/pulsar etc.

Personally I'd get an engine/gearbox oil change & new air filters as you don't know the full history of the car before it was in your hands & I wouldn't trust the dealer's word anyhow.

You can check the dipstick to see engine fluid level & open the airboxes to see the condition of the filters

If it's more technical like fault codes & engine lights Nissan dealers have OBDii scanner or buy one yourself off ebay.

You can use the same oil filter that fits a 350z, which also fits the older model micra funnily enough (no idea about the newest micras though)

Hey mate i have a workshop in blacktown not far from hills if you wanna short drive. Im the only mechanic and personally work on all cars. Love my imports. If your interested we can change the engine oil and filter with fully synthetic oil (or supply your own) for only $130 bucks.
