Roy
Yeh, I dont see anyone else on the grid worth signing up ahead of next year. That other German is doing well but you only have to look at him next to his team mate at Manor and you can see he is no way ready for the seat next to Hamilton....it would destroy him Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7761425 Share on other sites
Roy
And now a lift on the radio ban...muppets cant make up their minds. I can't believe these ppl get paid a fortunre to run this show. Now we have to listen to engineers telling Lewis what gear to be in and where to brake whilst Sky tell us how awesome he is for using every tool at his disposal. Real WDC stuff whilst any other driver receiving coaching is a hack and not capable of driving the car Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7761557 Share on other sites
JAS-25T
Will nico and jenson get their penalties retroactively dismissed and any points deducted, reinstated? 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7761563 Share on other sites

Yeah the same one who has lost the wdc 2 years running and squandered a massive lead in this years which he gained on the back of his team mates bad luck/bad management/stupidity. The same one you saw sooking on the tv last weekend*. *Having said that he is now guaranteed to win at home this weekend. hrd-hr30
Yeah why would you want Rosberg? Next minute, pole vs the greatest driver in the world in the same car... Who's sooking now? lol He is better than Nico at that but! roll on the excuses! dezz
Nico was carrying more fuel too apparently, so a few tenths faster than his pole time Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7762261 Share on other sites
Roy
Point he is easily good enough to get the job done if Lewis doesnt fire on a particular weekend. Between the two of them even if they didnt have a good car advantage you would imagine they woudl still be qualifying well and racing well and taking solid points haul I am surprised to say I feel a little sorry for the Russian....he is absolutely gutted and lost at the moment. Bring back Petrov Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7762262 Share on other sites

Never said Hamilton was the greatest driver (the greatest tool of this generation perhaps, other than, errr, Tool) just that he is quicker than Rosberg and that the tens of millions of dollars they pay Rosberg don't appear to be warranted. Sure they can afford it but even so.... Would still have my money on Hamilton for this years WDC, though. benm
Just watching the GP2 race right now, SOOO much better than F1. Better looking cars, better sounding cars, better wheel to wheel racing and the only team orders are win at any cost! Roy
At Monaco it was a little embarassing that the sound of the GP2s off the city was miles better than the F1s Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7762307 Share on other sites
djr81
Not the most exiting race - but Dan ran well so that was good. NFI what is going on at Williams. They need to find some speed and soon. Had also thought Palmer may have turned the corner after his last weekend and qualifying. But again he was outshone by his team mate. The Honda looked to have some horsepower, shame about the fuel consumption. hrd-hr30
I think Williams and a few others with tight budgets are focused on next year's massively different cars and making do with what they've got for the rest of 2016 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7762518 Share on other sites
djr81
Maybe but what they've got at the moment is being belted by Force it India. The low downforce/low drag advantage they used to have appears largely lost and they are nowhere with high downforce settings. Be interesting to see who they get to drive alonside Bottas next year. hrd-hr30
yep, FI have been much improved since their Spain update. Williams messing around with the extra illegal wing on test days says to me they're more interested in testing stuff for next year's high downforce cars. Hopefully it pays off. Roy
Rosberg just plugging away. Still think he is going to struggle unless Louise implodes Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/461670-formula-1-2016/page/10/#findComment-7772619 Share on other sites
djr81
Lewis usually implodes off the start line. Wonder who Williams will sign for next year. List of likely candidates doesnt look promising. They need someone with some money and who can drive. Kind of limits the field.
