Changing Plenum

I have a r33 gts-t series 2 I recently got my car tuned, but I was thinking of customising my stock plenum to a forward facing or buy one. If I do so would I need a touch up tune? Also would it make much of a difference with how responsive it is?

No difference to response (well, not enough to really notice anyway) and usually some sacrifice of low end torque for a bit of extra top end power.

And yes, you would need the tune cleaned up.

And no, it's not worth it unless you are driven to it by packaging concerns (trying to fit stuff in that won't fit with the crossover pipe, etc etc).

its gonna make a difference in the air intake which is a huge part of the tune. but yeah whats the gain your looking for?

unless your planning to use a chewap chineese shit your spending like $2000 including labour + the cost of a retune. at minimum for no benefit. I could spend that much more wisely.

Well the reason was because the cross over piping gets hot and to make it look neater tbh.. I put a atr45 on it and it fit perfectly on bottom mount just wanted to get some opinions. So I'll just leave it until I decide to do more mods to the car and get it all done at once

Yes of course. Wrap the cold side return. It's standard practice.

Run a Turbosmart BOV and trick up some hose to fit the stock return.

Unless you're able to get a flange for the stock BOV and get them to weld it into the stock location.

The team there are happy to do small customisations here and there as part of the deal. Just nothing mental, or don't run BOV

Yes, flange is always the best option

the rb20 stock bov I tested held 20 psi easy, and started to leak around 30 psi

... i was surprised too.
