Motor air filter.

Yes I did.

OK. Air filters a part in common with other Nissans, so not an issue. New cabin filter is a must if you haven't already swapped it out (Japan is very smoggy in parts).

I had issues with Nagoya for my 2013 model. I hope they were better for your's.

Yeah we did have issues as well.

Typical friendly and do anything for you when buying it but after sales service was crap. Took a mouth after we picked it up to get the English  conversion done and which was meant to take 2 days ended up taking a week.

Alex is nice to deal with but his brother is an arrogant pig.

Does the 370z air filter intake kit fit the cross over ?

cheers

Hi. Sorry - haven't been checking this forum for a while.

I agree that the customer once a deal is done is no longer a priority with them. Otherwise, I only dealt with Alex and his off-sider, Liam. Sounds like it's good I never met his brother.

Re 370Z air intake kit: which? If you're talking after-market straight-through pipe with pod or similar, I can't say. If you're talking genuine Nissan filters using the standard intake fitting, you just need to ensure they're suitable for the J50 engine.

Hi Peeps

I have a 370GT Crossover awd here in Auckland.

Has anyone ever managed to work out how to turn-off the annoying SCHOOL NEARBY pop-up warnings?

It would be great to get rid of them, especially because they go off when I'm on the motorway!

Cheers

Hi Dave. I think Win4ever mentioned he had the issue too. I don't get those warnings in mine (I've a 2013 model), so I've got to assume there is an option in the navigation menu to disable proximity warnings such as that. Not much help I know.

Otherwise, the car is the Infiniti EX37 in the U.S. You could try downloading that car manual for your year and see if that's mentioned. Available numerous locations if you Google.

Hi. Sorry I missed this, but I note you found your answer in another thread. I've saved that link too JIC... ;-)

No I never found an answer.

I did find pads but no listing for rotors any where. I have given the sizes to DBA and waiting on a reply.

Cheers

Did you look here?

Page for J50 Skyline Crossover

How did you find that ?

I contacted DBA direct and they said they have no listing for that car.

Well thanks a lot !

DBA said the same thing to me when I asked about the 330mm brakes for my V36... Luckily Brakes Direct had been hassling them for years about that size, and made DBA aware that they were an Infiniti part too... This added the US to the potential markets and it all made financial sense for DBA. That said, I ordered them in January (on a promise that they would eventually be made) and received them in August...

I think that the issue is DBA retail, do not know that DBA future planning or R&D are actually working on... Only what is available now...

2014 gt370 P four.

love it

cant get the console unit translated to English.  Apparently the new model has a different unit. Not a big deal as Bluetooth is all I need.

however I decided to try a mirror cast box.  Need power (bat and accessory) in the centre glove box thingy.  Anyone know what this outlet is?  I'm sure I've seen it talked abiutnjere before but can't find the thread now

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
