R33 water feed line leak. help?

R33 water feed line leak. help?

hey everyone, my water pump went so i replaced the water pump and did the timing belt service and was happy to have no more leaks and enjoy my car..

but now i have found myself a very small leak coming from the back of engine, i have found it was hose that connects to the turbo water feed line.

does anyone here have the best way or technique to replace the hose? because i took the cam gear cover off and still no room to fit my hand in there. 

also nissan said its going to take 2 weeks for the part to come in. other option they said was to take it off and go to any car store that has a part like it. recommendations?

look...this one ain't rocket-scientifical.

pull shit off/move shit out of the way till you can reach the hose, then replace with any decent 6/8 mm(can't remember what size but think 6mm) quality hose of required length. No way i'd gen. Nissan for this, it's only a mild bend that most free-length hose can cope with.

Yeah it's tight but welcome to JDM.

Replace said shit that you moved out of the way. Fine for another 10+years.

I know this is a few days old and you've probably already replaced it. But i just did this hose a few weeks ago.

 

Get some LONG needle nose, a decent light, and a LONG flat head to help push the clip and hose off.

Yea it is a prick of a hose to replace. Once u get the room though its easy

cheers for the info. still havent had the time to work on it. but hopefully within the few days ill move a lot of shit out of the way so i can fit my hands in there. 

 

TREX didnt you remove anything to get to it? how you fit your hands in there to pop on new hose?

Haha removed nothing at all. The pliers need to be about 1-2 feet long.

i forgot to upload photos and say what happen lol. i replaced the clamps with screw clamps so it makes i easier to change. even long pliers wouldnt work etc. i removed s much shit and still couldnt fit my hands in there eventually jsut ripped it out with the pliers. and was able to slide on new hose and use a lnog screw driver to close em down.
