TEIN coilovers rebuild or replace

Advice needed please. I imagine someones already done all the research on this already and can enlighten me. 

Currently my R32 gtr has super firm suspension, TEIN mono flex 10-9kg springs. Probably good in Japan but not great on our crappy roads. So one option is to change the springs, thinking 7-6kg range and get them serviced and revalved at the same time. I think the cost would be getting towards $1000. Or option 2 would be to buy some new TEIN super streets (or other new coilovers) for around $1600.

What does everyone think is the better option? I should add, car is just a weekender and might see a track day once a year.

I vote new MCAs and sell the steel bars to a kid who doesn't know any better.

i second the MCA's, you will get a set of MCA Blue series for your budget, if you can, stretch it a little and get the MCA X-C.

Might have to do a bit more research, had been thinking TEINS as I have the EDFC controller.

Answer the crucial question.....how often do you use the controller to adjust the damping?

Yer agreed, not sure it does much but it's kind of cool, in a jap way
