B-Man
Jeff, Mark from Hill Motorsport at Castle Hill is doing the work. Where did you get your work done ?? Are you happy with the performance gains ?? Cheers, Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/4706-im-doing-the-lot/page/2/#findComment-77482 Share on other sites
Guest MFX_R33
Mark did all the work on mine aswell. He is great with Skylines, and I have been impressed with his work (I travel from the far side of liverpool to go to him). Only thing is he is always so busy, it might take you a little bit longer than expected to get your car back. I am quite happy with the mods to my car (i usually only drive it on th low boost setting as that is usually enough), but I still have plans for more . Jeff. Guest pawel
Save the money on the Plenum chamber unless you are going for more than 600hp. Trust me the factory one is really good. I am using a factory one producing over 300rwkw. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/4706-im-doing-the-lot/page/2/#findComment-78641 Share on other sites

hungry6
with 450hp u better save up for lots of tyres especially the rear ones, as with that hp u can lay down a set of blackies by squeezing the gas in 3rd.. and also the stocl plenum is good enuff for what u want. benm
98% of what everyone said in this thread is way over my head (but hey im learning - give me a keyboard and mouse any day). While u've been on the topic of HP what is the conversion from rwkw -> rwhp ? Hopefully you'll have some before/after pics. T0nyGTSt
The conversion is 1.341 So 450hp is 335kW. How much is all this going to cost? Sounds horribly expensive. T. benm
Cool thanks Bummer that makes me only 257rwhp. I think 275rwhp is my next target when i jump on the dyno again. Cubes
My Guess is that he will be up for at least $7000-$8000. Am I Close? ... I Should be making around 250rwhp pretty soon. I've spent $4800 all up. I shouldn't have got the EBC now.. I should have just modded the wastegate.. Alot cheaper and with the same/similiar result. GiJOr33
Or if you want a serious clutch go for a OS Giken twin-plate... I heard they rule!!! As far as clutches go... the OS Giken twin plate is sweet. And there are guys selling them for the $1200 mark. I thought i was going to be a really On/Off clutch like my mates Ogura clutch in his 300ZX. I've just had an OS Giken put in about 2 weeks ago and am SOOOO happy with it. Easy to drive, feels very firm and just holds like $hit to a blanket! GiJOr33
i've got no problem with the OS Giken.... fine to drive the Nismo will be a bit softer cos it has one of the pressure plates that is sprung. GTS-t VSPEC
Got to agree, my OS twin-plate is a joy to drive, as easy as a factory single, but it bites when you need it to. Takes a few days to bed in then it was great, I would highly recommend it.
