Drop steering column to lowest point.

Remove steering column shroud.

Tap or drill a groove big enough to be able to get a small chisel or screwdriver etc into and use a hammer to tap it anti clockwise, should loosen up after 1 whole rotation. "Crack" both of them first and then loosen rather than undoing one all the way and then cracking the second one.

The stud/bolt things will most likely be trashed after removing them especially if it's your first go at changing one - I've used these as replacements on other Nissans before: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-OEM-NISSAN-IGNITION-LOCK-SECURITY-BREAK-AWAY-BOLTS-FITS-MANY-MODEL-NISSANS/272732154680?fits=Make%3ANissan&epid=1111287003&hash=item3f801a6b38:g:DVQAAOxyPc5R7tRd

Haven't used the above before on a Stagea before but have done Skylines/Maximas/Pulsars etc

The rest is just the reverse to put it all back together.
