dyl33
Noticed my battery earth cable starting to corrode or something, not sure why. See pic What would cause this? I removed the oe cable because it didnt go tight enough around the terminal a few months ago with a cable from supercheap, dont recall the oe cable doing this. Battery's a Optima maybe 2 yrs old, i believe is healthy. Any helps will be appreciated Edited December 27, 2019 by dyl33 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/479440-battery-earth-cable-going-funky/ Share on other sites
GTSBoy
Original one was probably plated. Clean that with a paste of sodium bicarbonate and an old toothbrush. Then once it is clean and reassembled, give it a good coating with some battery terminal protection spray. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/479440-battery-earth-cable-going-funky/#findComment-7921891 Share on other sites
