So have been toying with the idea of parting ways with the HMAS boatyMcboatfase.

Whats the general consensus on the market of r33 gtr's at the moment? I have a modified one and with the spread of pricing i have seen, its hard to gauge a sensible parting price.

Details are

-2.8 Spool kit (drag pro I Beams with the rod bolt upgrade and big pins)8.8:1 comp.

-Nitto Drag head gasket

-Nitto engine gaskets and seals

-Arp head and main studs

-Billet pump gears

-Nismo sump baffles

-Drilled oil returns, smoothed and enlarged head returns, usual restrictor

-Nismo engine and tranny mounts

-LS1 alternator conversion

-Breather tank/washer bottle combo

-Kelford 182-B cams, adjustable cam gears

-Supertech everything including inconel +1mm exhaust and SS +1 valves, titanium retainers, dual springs ect ect

-Extensive head work and squish mods

-460 intank lift pump into undercar surge with 2x044 E85 pumps into plazmaman rail and 2200cc's, turbosmart reg

-Turbosmart progate 50, GTW3884R (bigwheel) and manifold

-115mm cooler

-4" front to back drain pipe

-JB full monty 10" clutch

-S/Cut helical gearset in stock box

-GKtech FUCA, RUCA, Traction, RCA's, Lockout kit, Subframe bushes and spacers

-MCA pro custom coilovers

-Mech rear diff (no Vspec junk)

-Cam trigger kit and ATI big balancer, Vi-pec plugin with e85 only tune, Morristech 15amp external ignitor and splitfires (never had a spark issue)

-Turbosmart e-boost street 40psi

-M&H drag radials on stock rims

-MP original paint colour car

-Sound deadened doors, rear inner guards, rear panels, parcel shelf and rear wall/under seat area

-Genuine 85k on the car, ive owned it since 2007. Paint is in fair condition, has the usual small blemishes as the wife drives this car to work. Makes an easy 500awkw at 27pound.

Whats a ballpark sort of price do we all think?  Interior is reflective of an 85k old daily driver. Is garaged, not driven in the rain and used as its built. Have not run a full pass at our local track as I have had numerous warnings about the 1/8th speed already but generally rolls through for high/mid tens. Genuine, honest all-day 10 second traffic light weapon. Only considering this to possibly fund a ProLine powertrain for another project.

This is the closest thing I've found to a valuation guide for these cars in the US. Prices are in USD. Keep in mind Hagerty is primarily concerned with stock/near stock cars and for anything modified they're not great at pricing those. Value of your mods are almost entirely dependent on what someone wants out of it. Someone like me that wants a lightly modified car is probably going to not value it as highly as someone who wants a built motor with that kind of spec.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
