R3N3
Hi all, might be a bit lame.. but I’m after a recommendation for a nice hi-res reverse camera for the R33. I already have a capable Sony head unit with reverse camera input. Any recommendations? niZmO_Man
I slapped in a $20 Pioneer one a couple of times (came in bundle), did the job fine. But let us know what you end up with. I’ll keep investigating and report back what I go with. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/484920-reverse-camera/#findComment-7982565 Share on other sites
Duncan
You'll also need to consider what resolution the head unit accepts - no matter how good the camera quality is, it still won't be good if it is SD. 720p is sometimes supported through AV inputs for some head units, but 1080p or higher will need HDMI support 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/484920-reverse-camera/#findComment-7982566 Share on other sites

I’m also thinking a reasonable cable (that is shielded) will help. niZmO_Man
my XAV-3000 (or similar) had a 800x480 screen, so the Pioneer cheapie did the job fine. But yeah, let us know how you go. P.S. Wow did they jacked the price up for the Pioneer camera, or is it just me? 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/484920-reverse-camera/#findComment-7982586 Share on other sites
