lwells
Iwells - Sorry I thought I answered that already.Nah they didn't take the gauges, they did rip out the turbo timer however. If I had a choice of what should be stolen it would be TT not gauges (especially good gauges). Thanks for that... bastards. LW. Ceffo
Im begining to wonder if the wahrfies that steal your stuff are also the ones that you see selling the cheap TT and gauges at basement prices?.. So they nick your TT then sell it back to u on sau ofr e.g?.. Man that would be fcuked. :bs!: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/51043-my-ceffy-being-picked-up-today/page/4/#findComment-1015827 Share on other sites
someonestolecc
somestolecc.. maybe you should scale back your drift ambitions... The "cool" ones you see here in Japan are either workshop or heavily sponsorship backed. They are the ones that have the show and go and you go "phwoaa". Most of the jap cars you see over in japan actually drifting you'll never see over here, because they are either too good/expensive, or wouldn't be road registerable in australia (or probably japan for that matter). I know I know... but I want it all Anyways I don't see myself attempting 100kmh+ drifts with my car. Maybe 30-40km on skidpan first then 60-80km on track where if you get into trouble you lose the front bar not half your suspension. I dono maybe you're right maybe I am dreaming!!! Well, I expect I would budget appropriately to buy a 4.0 grade (or equivalent) car, if I wanted a nice car (as someonestolecc seems too). LW. inark
auction grade 4 on a early model ceffy??? thats impossible because true auction grade 4 means that the car has no damage, has never been repaired and has under 40,000kms on it. Well, no damage yes, milage wouldn't matter so much. Nothing is impossible, for a price My R32 GT-R is an 1989, rated 4.0. It has 69,000Km, but with log books. Interior is (apparently) great, engine bay is amazing, so nothing is impossible. Still, doesn't quite compare to this -- http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=1030 LW. lwells
OMG! that is MINT!!!! Well, for $40k you would want it to be. Still, most car experts say that a car that is driven with some regularity is a better car than one that sits around for long periods of time. Have a look at those rotors: doesn't strike me its seen much driving lately (let along over the 15 years). LW.
