not me but from another forum.

GTR's I know are getting pretty common, but still it's always been abit of a dream car for me. Thus me wanting to have them as my wedding cars.

So this is the deal!

Date: 2nd April 2005

Married at: St. Andrews Cathedral (next to town hall in the city )

You will get to park in town hall square (we think not confirmed yet, at least drive in for the drop off anyhow) next to the cathedral... so props for your car in the city. We might try and arrange to get you a professional shot of your car in the deal by the wedding photographer. Pay you $50 to cover your fuel.

It's all abit fluid right now of course. As far as the day would go I think where going for a midday to arvo wedding.

Looking for FOUR GTR's. Pretty big wedding party. Pick up would be from parramatta>city(probably organise a cheese platter and some beverages for you during the wedding part)>then to brighton. That's it for TWO cars.

The other pickup will be from Mortdale (near hurstville) and then the same route.

Just looking for interest to see if this is feasible. Looking to put 3 brides maids each in 2 GTR's and 3 groomsmen each inthe other 2.

Probably going to try and find a convertible of some description for me and the bride to leave from the Cathedral....know anyone?

I want a massive Rev off when we leave as well  4 rb26's singing together would be sweet.

Anyhow, let me know if you are keen or if you know someone.

My favourite are R32's but they are abit old these days. Very happy for there to be 33's or 34's

That's about it, email me [email protected]

Thanks alot!

I'd probably be willing to put my hand up as long as I don't have to dress up lol.

That shouldnt be a problem, unless your set on wearing speedo's and that's it.

Still it's a long way off, but if you could email me at [email protected] just so I have a list of possibles that would be really helpful, If you could to blitz that would be great.

    • How dare you sell your unreliable Skyline and buy a reliable, Toyota/Yamaha car with a strong gearbox, torsen LSD and Toyota reliability. At least you won't need to worry about oil pumps, big catch can, oil restrictors, blowing off power steering belts, sheering off 3rd gear, failing ABS relays/pumps, etc.
    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
