Black plates with white letters? Yeh i was probably having an argument with teh missus! STANDARD! haha

Yeah from memory it was white on black plates

Glad I caught ya, as for the arguments, such is life! ;)

I'm around the Rouse Hill area quite a bit, so if you see a wine red M35 give me a toot :)

Spotted a White M35 ARX this morning parked on Victoria rd, with nice aftermarket 20 inch or 19 inch wheels. Also had the chrome towel rack on the front bumper, LOL.

Hmm, how did it look with the "nudge bar" (middle of car, about 400mm wide?) Andy?

May be getting a nudge gate for the new place & my folks have one also (12" gate with a tyre in the middle that you push open with your bumper).

Down side is that it has marked the corner of my front bar  Thus the possible need for the nudge bar.

Looked OK, I will take a pic of it next time I see it.

It was chrome and turned in at the ends.

It is a bummer when those marks happen.

Cheers

Andy

Awesome, was it a heated towel rack? Gotta love a warm towel in winter :P

I am sorry to say I saw my first 35 today. Mr Nissan sure got that wrong.

On the other hand a Mellow Yellow S2 in the new building lots near Nerang. Now that is a Nissan.

Nup didn't get wrong....it's just like the rest of the jap Nissan domestic market...fugly....lol.

you just need to play with the looks a little.....the rest of the driveline is pretty awsome.

heh, the only thing I hate about the JDM cars is that they all have to (or used to) look like they were smiling!

+1 regarding the drivetrain...

Spotted a pearl white s2 RS parked up at UAS getting repairs done. Its owner had cooked the engine, so the head and all attached accessories were off the block for some major work - ouch!!! I wouldn't want to see the repair bill for that! :D

Car had gold AVS Model 7 wheels and gold detailing around the large opening on the front bumper.

I like your signature Nick...I driven two of them and have one of them.

saw a white S2 last night parked in Dryburgh St. North Melbourne (parked facing towards North Melbourne Football Club. didn't look to bad - bodykit rims and nicely lowered..couldn't see if it had a SAU sticker on it

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
