Odd, I wasnt trying to be funny.

Hypothetically speaking, how long would it take to walk from say, your place to the steakhouse? :spank:

;) d'oh... ownage.

If I'm carrying a slab, I predict that someone will give me a lift :)

Duncan, very good interpretation of tone!

Man, this dinner is next week. it sure rolls around quickly. And I haven't even had time to properly whore in the dinner thread :boohoo:

Richard

Thats because you spend your time emailing certain travel agents trying to convince them that im an alcho you bastard.

ok, I'm sorry

The GTR will be there. :)

Don't bring it man. It will destroy what's left of my sanity and patience :D !

Nah, Seriously I can't wait to see it. How's it going?

Richard

Yeah I might bring my skyline to this meat event. :D

What about you nick? Maybe we'll have more skylines than 'others' this meet! That will be weird... :)

Nevah! The only thing worrying me is with the current sydney weather is that your mr2 may not have been driven in a straight line for a while... :uh-huh:

Nick, can I book a ride in your marvelous skyline? Hopeing the GTI-R will be sold this weekend (guy coming back for a second look).

That's it. If you're getting registered I'm getting a new turbo. I only own a 34 for the attention when I turn my headlights on.

I'm ready to place the order Adam

*finger....... itching*

Car is on the road :P;):(:):D :D Interim label but same thing - Pits next Monday so - Looks like it wont make it to the trackday :(

I saw that dirty-looking-but-fast GTR (with matching driver) on the way home I remember it from the last UAS track day so I waved and got a wave back. Nick and Carlo probably know what im talking about ... :Pimp:

Thats the SSS Automotive GTR - not one to be challenged! Its an absolute animal. The fact it looks like shit and is permanently coated in dirt just ads to the effect

Oh and Kris, your a bastard

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
