Awesome night to have been racing your import. I think thats the best showing of skylines and zedboats I have ever witnessed.

And speaking of zeds, we couldnt seem to find the 400kw "easy tens" mobile.

It seems Boosted did a no show - whats the story Johnny?

I think he was sick with the flu, cause he wasnt at work yesterday either. He might have been worried that Wreckedhead was going to show :jk:

Yes a good night had by all. My best run was 13.1 60' 1.8 with 103MPH. I guess you can only expect that out of a STD GTR.

Busted Zed,

After the serve you gave me, um how did it go again?

Quote "Paul if your engine falls out then I might listen otherwise get there, and put your lipstick back in your purse. Or was some wimp from work posting for you?"

Well well well, so if the boat did break an engine then I accept your apology for not attending, otherwise SHAME SHAME SHAME, and I will be popping around on Saturday with a little present for you, what size skirt do you wear? I told you that lipstick comment would come back to bite you one day, the only surprise is how fast that day came round. So really tell us, what was the excuse, wheels? tyres? or did my little princess have a little caught? hahahahahaha this is golden, and so will the photos, when I come round on Sat.

By the way the boys at the boys from the Zed forum also missed you, as a side note they are a great bunch, and are also watching this post.

We are all eagerly waiting your reply and I will see you Saturday some time.

Awesome night - HUGE showing of 'lines and zed-boats....

NO-SHOW-JOHNNY - WHERE WERE YA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

bwahahahahahaha!!!!

Nick, post the boot pic you took with the Sony. Told ya's all it'd run a 12.7 - have a look at the slip to see how much it scraped in by :)

Adrian

It was a very good night, the number of skylines guaranteed that!

Good to see a some forum members giving it heaps.

It was they first off street night I have been to in NSW and its fired me up to compete rather than spectate! I will have to get out there in the next few weeks.

Are you guys regulars, or only once every now and then?

Yes people I can vouch for Adrians lack of gas last night, a rare thing I know!

Johnny boy called me this morning, unfortunately he does in fact have a very valid reason for not turning up last night, namely that he hurt his back and spent the night in much pain. Added to this is had issues with caliper clearance when his new drag wheels were fitted so it just wasnt going to come together last night.

What a great night!!!! adrian!! congrats on the 12.7!! thats awesome!!! especially without gas!!!! I think my run against you (or was it sam  ) was my best for the night!!! i seemed to be doing consistant low 13s! dunno whats wrong!!!! I'll blame my diff!!! :uh-huh:

Thanks sam and adrian for livening up the night!! hehe.. its always good when you have someone you know to g you up and run against :);) ;)

i think i have your 12.7 run on vid too 2rismo...

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
