I give a lot to SAUWA, that will do me.

If you agree that your posting here is a business promotion justified by your contributions to SAUWA, you're mistaken. PranK would LOVE to hear from you.

Personally, out of all the bitching and whinging that's happened in this thread, I think the only thing worth knowing is how batch firing injectors works and how it applies to this scenario.

It was a new concept to me until I read this ridiculous thread but I'd really like some more detail on its application in the case of magic1's ride. If it is giving away a trade secret then I understand but shouldn't all Wolf dealers know of AND understand this technology? In which case, can someone that isn't Steve or magic post that info?

I'm sure that makes sense....or not...It's been a long day.

Thankyou.

Adrian

LOL, This is getting to the point of unexplainable, There are so many strong counter claims agaisnt the original claims, so that makes the claims of the counter claims almost believable, and the unbelievable facts of the original claims would be regarded as the claims that the counter claims would like to counter claims against.

That pretty much what is happening here and this subject. It's all jibberish and B.S claim'original"

sorry i had to be blunt.

I agree, I want to know how to do it aswell, if it can save me some $$'s and I learn something new than I'm all ears. But it seems that if steve tells us then SST wont have the ' edge ' over other workshops, from my point of view it looks like a sly business promotiom.

Nothing sly about it ....ing in your face

Steve tell something why cars can run at your dyno one day and come to adrenline and consistently run 10% below the next you and i both saw this on several car do this (including gotboost)does this show adrenlines dyno is out (ex summer nats dyno)to the low side or just high light inconsist in wa dynos

i can comply a list of car and figures if you so wish

but adrenline have had there figures disputed before ie commodore ute ran 330hp and he believed to be to low when to another and ran 332hp.

(not 438hp to 511)

if this trend were to true that (438) would be lucky to make 400 at adrenline

like gotboost last visit down here.

Hey adrian, im sure if u ask gtrken, he should be able to explain it to you , he did to me :(

Threads like this make the whole w.a scene look dodgy, one sour grape spoils the bunch.

Why cant i get an answer to my questions?

Why post results if you're not prepaired to give methods?

Why do i have to fly to w.a to get information?

Well done on the power figure, but no one believe's you unless you explain how, simple as that mate.

The starting storys is Bad bikis mates helping him out. Ask Tristan about starting, he laughed at PAS when the hardest car to start in the Antilag display had an M800 Motec.

I'd like to hear that from magic1 himself.

I agree with you, and that's sad because it's only this particular tuner. We here in W.A. look at this the same way as you easterners and think what a dickhead. This thread is all promotional shit, generating interest in the wolf, simple.

Perth Vs The Worlds in this thread.

More like Perth vs. SST, and Australia vs. SST

please do not associate Perth with SST, it's a beautiful place with many people who are generous and honest :(

family comitments stopped me from attending the track last night, it will happen

Great so we are never gonna find out if your car actually has the power it claims, or how stock injectors can work like an injector double its size!!!

More than just the title of this thread is a joke

Ask Sean (Gotboost) why his car was down.

Magic1 has been on 4 different dynos at comps and never been under 400rwhp.(415to511)

We will bring it to Georges next Dyno comp for sure, tell us when it is but it is not shootout accredited but George is an honest guy so i know i will get a fair run.

Has anyone tryed to pass an ADR test with oversized injectors? Closed loop cycles close to stoic but a large injector gets very dirty just of stoic and even Motec cant keep them clean enuff to pass a test this is the reason i run the smallest injector i can get away with.

We have a new fuel system going to Vipac engineering early next week for Australian ADR approval that has already passed WA tests and with the years of R+D on this system we learnt a lot about injector control and have this car down to zero emissions and yes it is Wolf controlled as the Motec could not clip closed loop tight enuff.Any one in Altona victoria look out for this car at Vipac Wed.

I used to be all "oooh aaaah" over peak rwkw dyno figures. And I still am to a certainly extent, I certainly do enjoy the whole dyno experience. But I always knew deep down that the peak rwkw number a dyno spits out is not the measure of a cars performance.

'IMHO' it's the piece of paper that I get after completing a successful pass on the drag strip that counts. Or for the circuit guys... it's the lap time that counts (obviously brakes and suspension play a big part here too) .

300rwkw, 350+rwkw - Yep, no doubt about it... they are awesome power figures and at a dyno comp or Autosalon they will gain you some "cred"...

120, 125, 130mph - Now that's what I'm talkin bout girlfriend! :(

I'd rather - 250rwkw and a 12.0 @ 120mph (2.00) than... 300rwkw and 12.5 @ 115mph (2.00)

My 2c

ND4SPD is 142mph and we have many in the 120-130mph zone even my wifes near stock GTR runs 119.35mph with only 348rwhp. We have no shortage of MPH.

This forum has showen the bad side of me and very much so some of you guys and the shops that have been feeding some ppl from WA so they can have their say with out putting their name to their words so i am going to log off SAU for good and thank the many ppl that have sent me support and if those ppl need help they can email me and ill leave you guys to it.

Next sunday Adrenline Dyno comp for all interested persons 28/11/04

Steve May

I have never had a problem starting my car.

Peter Blight whats the address in bunbury? do you have sealed roads there yet? (Joke)

Nguyen

my car cranks over 3-4 time before it fires i like this. as it lets me get a little bit of oil pressure. When i was about to start my car at pas i was teased "dont start on me cause your wolf wont start" something like that. I then noticed that the r34 with the motec was going to be moved, all i said was ''watch this''. 8-9 cranks later it started. i said nothing else as the looks on their faces was enough.

Inasnt.

moron i will get down to the drags and i will post my times for all.

Ahh...yes.

Now you see the light. But what about the cement filled boot? You still have much to learn grasshopper. :)

    • Thought I would get some advice from others on this situation.    Relevant info: R33 GTS25t Link G4x ECU Walbro 255LPH w/ OEM FP Relay (No relay mod) Scenario: I accidentally messed up my old AVS S5 (rev.1) at the start of the year and the cars been immobilised. Also the siren BBU has completely failed; so I decided to upgrade it.  I got a newer AVS S5 (rev.2?) installed on Friday. The guy removed the old one and its immobilisers. Tried to start it; the car cranks but doesnt start.  The new one was installed and all the alarm functions seem to be working as they should; still wouldn't start Went to bed; got up on Friday morning and decided to have a look into the no start problem. Found the car completely dead.  Charged the battery; plugged it back in and found the brake lights were stuck on.  Unplugging the brake pedal switch the lights turn off. Plug it back in and theyre stuck on again. I tested the switch (continuity test and resistance); all looks good (0-1kohm).  On talking to AVS; found its because of the rubber stopper on the brake pedal; sure enough the middle of it is missing so have ordered a new one. One of those wear items; which was confusing what was going on However when I try unplugging the STOP Light fuses (under the dash and under the hood) the brake light still stays on. Should those fuses not cut the brake light circuit?  I then checked the ECU; FP Speed Error.  Testing the pump again; I can hear the relay clicking every time I switch it to ON. I unplugged the pump and put the multimeter across the plug. No continuity; im seeing 0.6V (ECU signal?) and when it switches the relay I think its like 20mA or 200mA). Not seeing 12.4V / 7-9A. As far as I know; the Fuel Pump was wired through one of the immobiliser relays on the old alarm.  He pulled some thick gauged harness out with the old alarm wiring; which looks to me like it was to bridge connections into the immobilisers? Before it got immobilised it was running just fine.  Im at a loss to why the FP is getting no voltage; I thought maybe the FP was faulty (even though I havent even done 50km on the new pump) but no voltage at the harness plug.  Questions: Could it be he didnt reconnect the fuel pump when testing it after the old alarm removal (before installing the new alarm)?  Is this a case of bridging to the brake lights instead of the fuel pump circuit? It's a bit beyond me as I dont do a lot with electrical; so have tried my best to diagnose what I think seems to make sense.  Seeking advice if theres for sure an issue with the alarm install to get him back here; or if I do infact, need an auto electrician to diagnose it.
    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
